Reporting to

About the role
Reporting to our SEO and Experiences Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering performance-driven SEO and GEO strategies for a diverse range of clients, and help shape our growing department.
You’ll lead data analysis, keyword research, content optimisation and writing for your clients, and support on technical audits. Copywriting is at the core of the role. We scrutinise it, and we don’t support AI-written content.
What you’ll do
- SEO and GEO strategy. Build strategies with our search framework, bringing data and audits together into one numbers-informed plan for each client.
- Data and performance analysis. Track organic growth and measure impact with GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Looker Studio.
- Content strategy and optimisation. Write well-researched, human-led content that earns visibility in search results and LLMs.
- Technical auditing. There’s a small technical element, and the team will train and support you until you’re comfortable auditing sites and spotting issues.
- Collaborative working. Work with our Digital PR and Paid Media specialists, sharing insights to grow total search performance for the clients you share.
- Client communication. Explain recommendations and results to clients in plain, jargon-free English, and help with any questions that come your way.
What we’re looking for
- Experience. 2+ years of hands-on SEO or content experience, in an agency or in-house.
- Confident writing. You’ve written long-form content and you’re comfortable with a copy-heavy workload.
- A data-led mindset. Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and other data tools.
- Technical curiosity. You’re willing to run site audits and crawl analysis in Screaming Frog, and interpret what you find.
- Modern search knowledge. An interest in how search is changing, from AI search and LLM citations to GEO.
- Clear communication. You can explain SEO concepts to technical and non-technical people alike.
